Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and Ratcliffe on the Green is the perfect place to celebrate. Executive chef Greg Balch will be offering a scintillating four course tasting menu featuring your favorite local farmers. Chef Balch's tasting menu will be offered for $75 per person and will include a glass of champagne selected by Ratcliffe on the Green general manager and sommelier Erik Carpenter.
Valentine's Tasting Menu
First Course (choose one)
Pan Seared Diver Scallop served over melted leeks and fennel with a blood orange buerre blanc
Ahi Tuna Carpaccio accompanied by fried capers, Poplar Ridge Farm micro mustard greens, and saffron ailoli
Second Course (choose one)
Grilled Ashley Farms Quail Maple brined quail complimented with New Town Farm brussel sprouts and a curried pear chutney
Duck Confit Crepe A butterey crepe filled with duck confit and wild mushrooms topped with a truffle mornay sauce and served with an arugula salad
Third Course (choose one)
Grateful Growers Pork Shank Served with a Morrocan couscous with harissa and Poplar Ridge Farm micro cilantro greens
Fresh Dayboat Catch Complimented with a Grateful Growers chorizo and sweet potato hash topped with Tega Hills micro greens
Fourth Course (choose one)
Dark Chocolate Cake with Marscapone peanut butter filling
Hazelnut Sponge Cake & Lemon Curd Napoleon with fresh raspberries
The Valentine's Day tasting menu will be the only menu available starting Friday February 12 and will run through Sunday evening February 14.

As Valentine's Day is traditionally the busiest time of year for the restaurant, we will be collecting a credit card at the time of reservation to ensure your table for the evening.
